Terms & Conditions

These are subject to amendment and review at any time without notice.

If a scholarship winner engages in unacceptable behaviour in the first six months they will forfeit any remaining prizes not yet received and will no longer enjoy the promotion and goodwill of the prize sponsors. This behaviour includes (but is not limited to) antisocial behaviour, illegal activities, rudeness to anyone involved in the program, etc. This decision is at the discretion of Alison Rentoul, founder of The Crew Coach.

We do not guarantee that sponsorship winners will secure a job. The prizes offered will give candidates the best chance of success, however candidates remain 100% responsible for doing everything possible to secure their first yachting position. Scholarship winners must be prepared to come to Antibes, France no later than the end of April 2017 and begin their job hunt there.

It is a condition of winning that winners should undertake the actions advised by The Crew Coach and other scholarship mentors. Repeated failure to follow advice from these people may result in the scholarship and its related prizes and priveleges being revoked.

Prizes must be claimed within six months of the prize announcement. Physical prizes must be collected from the sponsors providing them in Antibes. Prizes will not be sent by post. Any prizes not claimed within this time frame will be forfeited.

Scholarship winners are responsible for their own travel, transfer, accommodation and living expenses and should have a minimum of €1,000 euros in accessible savings on arrival in Antibes, France.

Scholarship winners will have a period of 10 days from notification of winning thier prize to confirm acceptance of their Scholarship. If confirmation is not made within this time the prize will be forfeited and will be given to a runner up.

The Crew Coach and all other companies and businesses associated with the Superyacht Sholarship are in no way legally liable or responsible for any actions taken or not taken on the part of scholarship winners.

Winners agree to share selected images and social media posts about their first year of yachting publicly.
